This panel explores how university students’ physical and emotional well-being can be integrated into the teaching–learning process, drawing on emerging pedagogical approaches to emotional and embodied education. Using conference interpreting as a case study, given its high cognitive and emotional demands, panelists will present three experiences that highlight the role of emotions in learning, with insights transferable across disciplines. The session will discuss the value of reflective learning and the integration of emotion, cognition, body, and action in fostering more coherent and human-centred education. It concludes with a 20-minute moderated open debate.
