This interactive session, delivered in two parts with a break, introduces core User Experience (UX) principles and practical user research methods for higher education. Designed for academic and non-academic staff, as well as students across European universities, it focuses on digital transformation, inclusivity, interoperability, and cross-border collaboration. Through mixed-group activities, participants will practice techniques such as quick interviews and empathy mapping, addressing multilingual and cultural diversity. The session highlights how UX can be applied to improve cross-institutional services, such as joint course registration and Erasmus mobility, turning insights into impactful, user-centred solutions.
