Level Up: Transforming Traditional Education into Impactful Learning Quests

This immersive workshop addresses the engagement gap in higher education by transforming traditional curricula into dynamic “Learning Quests” through advanced gamification and Challenge-Based Learning (CBL). Participants will experience the principles of engagement through a live interactive activity, followed by an introduction to key mechanics such as XP systems, skill trees, and impact-driven assessments. Working in transdisciplinary “guilds,” they will redesign a conventional syllabus into a mission-oriented learning journey. The session concludes with group pitches and a shared resource kit, equipping participants with practical tools to foster motivation, collaboration, and real-world impact in their teaching practice.
